This route covers CSX's Nashville terminal, which is CSX's Radnor Yard, a Hump yard that handles 1,400 cars a day through the yard. The Nashville area handles about 40 trains a day throughout the Nashville area alone. This one also covers the Main Line Subdivision towards Louisville up to Bowling Green, KY, as well as the Henderson Subdivision towards Evansville, IN, to Chicago, covering up to Madisonville, KY. To the east, towards Memphis, TN, out of Nashville, we go to Colesburg, TN. To the south, with the line to Birmingham, AL, we cover Athens, AL. Then towards Atlanta on the Chattanooga and W&A Subdivision, crossing Chattanooga and Dalton, GA. All run-through trains through Nashville need a crew change either at Kayne Avenue or at Radnor Yard. Make sure you plan out these crew changes easily because things can back up fast!
