DJ Shimamura is a Hardcore rave producer / DJ in Japan, where he runs the label "Dynasty Records“ since 2001.
He has also gained support from overseas, and has performed as a DJ at BANGFACE WEEKENDER, HARDCORE UNDERGROUND, Side Effects in the UK, MIRAI NIGHTS in Australia, So Stoked (San Francisco), Hardcore Synergy (Chicago), Hardcore Havok (Hawaii) in the US, CCG in China, and Nocturnal Commissions in Canada. He also plays parties all over Japan, mainly at Shinkiba ageHa, Shibuya clubasia, and Akihabara MOGRA. He mainly plays HARDCORE RAVE (UK HARDCORE / HAPPY HARDCORE), as well as uplifting tracks such as RAVE, TECHNO, and HARD DANCE.
He has also produced remixes for m-flo, Nanawo Akari, Kumi Koda, RAM RIDER, LONDON ELEKTRICITY, DECO*27, NIRGILIS, GRANRODEO, and others. In 2018, his Q-Tex - The Power Of Love (DJ Shimamura Remix) reached number one on the Beatport HARDDANCE chart.As a producer, DJ Shimamura & Relect's "Northern Lights feat. Lindsey Marie" reached number one on the Beatport HARDDANCE chart for several weeks.
In Japan, he has also provided songs for vocalists and idols, as well as music games, gaining support from users.
