Kochel: Waterfall I - James Billingham
This piece is based on the painting by Wassily Kadinsky who pioneered abstract painting with a deep philosophical belief system attaching the components of his art to human emotion. I have chosen a more natural painting of his to connect the themes of the natural world and the human soul. The bell-like melodies create a sense of calm as we meditate in the peaceful forest.
The music is aimed at around grade 3 level and will challenge the ability of the player to breathe with the music and present their calm connection to the piece.
