Synchromy No.3 by James Billingham
Based on the painting by Morgan Russell Synchromy No.3 explores the relationship of colour and music that Russell was equally dedicated to. I have aimed to represent colours with different expressive qualities in the music whilst connecting them with rhythmic flow and common melodies.
This piece is aimed at around grade 2-3 level and encourages careful balancing of tonal qualities to allow each colour to be heard clearly.
