Moonlit Sunset - James Billingham
The final piece in the collection is inspired by a painting by my son Rowan. He has painted a beautiful sunset which is partnered by a powerful image of the moon rising above. I have captured the mysterious image in my music with a waltz which contains a central theme which Rowan actually hummed to me one day when I asked him for help with the middle of the piece. I hope you enjoy hearing and playing it as much as I did writing it!
The piece is aimed at around grade 4-5 level.
