Sarajevo 1984 Winter Olympic Games, First Volume
The fourteenth games of the Olympiad were held in Sarajevo in February 1984. Sarajevo won the bid to host the games in May 1978 which was followed by a wave of mass urbanization and creation of large Olympic villages such as Alipašino, Mojmilo, Vojničko, Nedžarići and Dobrinja.
Igman, Jahorina, Trebević and Bjelašnica served as the Olympic mountains during both the 1984 Winter Olympic Games and 2019 European Olympic Youth Festival.
