Save the flies

I know you all get annoyed by flies, wasps, bees and mosquitos in the summer.

I also know you swat them with the newspaper - and even if you don't they aren't going to live that long anyway.

All I'm saying is spare a thought for the flies' afterlives.

They deserve to live forever too - just like you do.

They deserve to be born again in the spring and fly around for as long as they can and then I guess they go to another world after they die and their spirit passes through to the places only spirits can go.

The flies are related to us too. We all are sons and daughters of LUCA - the Last Universal Closest Ancestor. LUCA was probably a really tiny cell that divided the first time to make two cells which divided and divided and divided.

LUCA made our bodies but LUCA didn't make our spirits.

Take greater care of your spirit than your body because it's got to last a lot longer, and don't kill any spirits because that is the most evil thing I've ever heard of - even killing the very spirits of the flies.
