It’s not exactly an under-bust vest but it can be easily adapted by lowering front piece.

Also, please understand that everybody’s got different figure and if back piece is too wide on your figure, you can narrow center back side, or waistlines can be wider or slimmer, etc.. you can also narrow or widen darts.

Computer drafted. If you have any problem with your download or the pattern, please contact me.

Print at home pattern sheets and assemble with the sticky tape.

The waistcoat is sized to fit busts 30" - 42" (76 - 106 cm)
Please check the measurements table in the 2nd image.

It is PDF instant download so you can start sewing straight away after your purchase!

PRINTING YOUR PATTERN:

Cut out all individual pieces and tape them together matching letter markings.

Difficulty level: confident beginner

I recommend to make first pieces from cheap fabric to see how it fits and adjust if necessary.
This pattern originally runs large. Try toile a size smaller first.

(TOILE - an early version of a finished garment made up in cheap material so that the design can be tested and perfected.)

Fabric suggestions:
Plaids, Checks, Corduroys, Velveteens, Wool Flannels, Gabardines or any heavyweight fabrics.

Notions: Thread, 3 snaps, 6 buttons
