The Community of Christ opens a new horizon for us in seeing Jesus’ mission as delivering a Universal message for humanity not limited to any one religious doctrine. Using both the intellect and intuition, it enables the reader to explore the different understandings of Jesus: the man, the Messenger, the ‘Son of God’.
The book looks afresh at Jesus’ mission on earth and questions whether his purpose really was his death as a means of salvation for humanity. Rather it shows how his work was to bring new life to this planet by his very presence.
