PMX-303 Organs Ableton Pack

PMX-303 Organs by PerforModule
A set of seven vintage organ instruments, sampled from the PX-300 Digital Piano and presented in a self-installing pack for Ableton Live 9+.

Included Instruments:
PMX-300 Drawbar Organ
PMX-300 Jazz Organ
PMX-300 Rock Organ
PMX-300 Bright Pipe Organ
PMX-300 Dark Pipe Organ
PMX-300 Electronic Organ
PMX-300 Liquid Organ

The samples for each of 88 keys have been individually recorded through a dual triode vacuum tube at 96k for a touch of analog fidelity.
They have been crafted into instrument racks optimized with parameters to reflect their true physical counterparts.

Special controls for the Organs pack include "swell (EXP)" and "crescendo" pedals.
This set of instruments is designed to play similar to how real organs do, so how hard you hit the keys only barely effects the resulting volume. For ideal authenticity, map the "EXP Pedal" macro control to a foot expression pedal and use that to control the volume as you play with a keyboard. "Crescendo Pedal" is meant to be used more occasionally, to boost intense passages.

All of the organ instruments have infinite sustain, so holding down a note will cause that note to play indefinitely, just like a real organ.

The Organs pack also comes with the bonus audio effect Leslee Rotary. This emulates the classic rotating speaker cabinet used on many real organs, including its tube preamp, dual woofer and horn speakers with individual rotation motors, and an optinal additional reverb speaker. The rate of the rotation is selectable between the classic "chorale" and "tremolo" settings based on research into their historic speeds. It is recommended to use automation to slope between the upper and lower ranges to emulate the acceleration or braking of the motors. For those who have the Max For Live Essentials pack installed, there is an included "doppler" control which makes the sound even more realistic.

Instrument Macro Controls:
"Drive": determines the input feeding the tube pre-amp as well as a touch of waveform shaping.
"High Cut FreQ": sets the built-in filter frequency and resonance. Greater cuts cause a more resonant boost just below the cutoff point.
"Rotary Amount": percentage of the signal feeding to the dual rotary speaker cabinet.
"Rotary Speed": rate of the rotary effect. Set to low for "chorale" and high for "tremolo".
"EXP Pedal": use like a real organ's expression pedal (also known as "swell") to control volume dynamics.
"Crescendo Pedal": use like a real organ's crescendo pedal for an extra volume boost for intense passages.
"Timbre Shift": change tone by shifting sample selection.
"Vibrato": a vibrato which can be ramped up in intensity and speed. Use at low settings for a wavery effect.

Leslee Rotary Controls:
"Tube Drive": pushes the input signal into more distortion.
"Chorale v Tremolo": the main rate parameter. Place it somewhere near the top for the classic Tremolo setting and near the bottom for the classic Chorale setting. Use the middle range to transition between the two extremes.
"Doppler": simulated doppler effect for a more realistic sound (this extra function only works if you have Max For Live plus the "Max For Live Essentials" pack installed).
"Reverb Speaker": increase the volume of the auxillary reverb speaker. At 0, it is disabled.
"Rotation Direction": switch this to change the direction of the rotation motors in 3 settings.
"Cabinet Size:" alter the sizes of the speaker enclosures.
"Mic Distance:" alter the distance of the virtual microphones picking up the signal.
"Dry-Wet": to use only the rotating speakers, set this to max. To bypass them, set to minimum. Set to a middle range for parallel processing.
